The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology has led strong cooperation and authorized the long-term development process of water resources and meteorology with the World Bank, following the long-term investment plan on water resources and meteorology sector from 2019 to 2033, with full support from the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

With this in mind, the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, in partnership with the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the World Bank, has developed a number of collaborative projects aimed at reducing floods and droughts in the long run.

The goal of the conference is to continue and deepen excellent collaboration, undertake significant projects with the World Bank, and implement long-term investment work plans in the fields of water resources and meteorology in order to better manage and prevent floods, droughts, and other natural disasters.

The increase in attention to the implementation of national, regional, and international water regulations, as well as collaboration in water-related information centers, makes this sector more valuable as an international partner in this field.
