Preah Sihanouk Provincial Red Cross Distribute Donations to People Who Are Self-Isolate at Home

(MGO) - Mr. Koam Sokhom, Director of Preah Sihanouk Provincial Branch of the Cambodian Red Cross, led the Branch Officers, Branch Volunteers, and the Deputy Governor of Sihanoukville to visit and distribute the humanitarian donations of the Sihanoukville Red Cross Branch to the people who are self-isolating at the home of 12 families involved in the February 20 community event, including 1 family in Sangkat 4, 2 families in Sangkat 1 and 9 families in Sangkat 3 in Sihanoukville on Monday morning, on August 2, 2021.



Mr. Koam Sokhom had a talk and brought greetings from HE Kouch Chamroeun, Governor of Preah Sihanouk Province and Chairman of Preah Sihanouk Provincial Red Cross Branch Committee and Samdech Kittipritthbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen to the people who are lack food while self-isolated and also educated and disseminated the risk of transmission of Covid-19 in the community if we all did not cooperate to properly implement the measures of the Ministry of Health and the guidelines "3 Do nd 3 DO NOT" Of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia to ensure that us, our families, are not infected with Covid-19. Participate in ways to reduce the risk of transmission of Covid-19 by promoting lifestyle changes, regular hygiene by washing hands with soap, alcohol or gel, and always wearing a mask or scarf.



In particular, measures to maintain safety gaps and proper social gaps in order to eliminate the source of Covid-19 in our community, and we must live in a new way to participate in preventing the spread of Covid-19 in the family and communities. Please note that the donation of the Provincial Red Cross Branch was distributed to 12 families in Sihanoukville, each family received 25 kg of rice, 10 cans of the fish can, 1 box of noodles,  6 bottles of fish sauce, and 1 box of mask.
