According to J&J, the J&J vaccine can be effective against the Covid-19 for at least eight months, and the vaccine is highly resistant to the new strains of the virus and is 85% effective against the virus. The severity of the disease can also prevent the highest death rate from Covid-19. Please note that as of the night of July 21, 2021, yesterday, Cambodia vaccinated 6,334,378 people for the first dose and 4,253,792 people for the second dose.
As of July 22, 2021, Cambodia has already received more than 17 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine, of which Sinovac was ordered from China with 10.5 million doses of the Sinovac vaccine, Sinopharm 6.2 million doses (2.2 million doses provided by the Chinese government) and the Covishield vaccine, licensed by AstraZeneca, were donated by the World Health Organization through the COVAX Facility 342,000 doses.
