Covid-19: 538 New Cases Detected

A total of 538 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) were reported in Cambodia this morning, of which 29 were imported and the rest were community cases related to the Feb. 20 incident, announced by the Ministry of Health in a press release. The tally thus increased to 33,613 the same source added.

 

At the same time, it continued, 534 more patients have recovered; the total cured cases in the Kingdom rose to 26,078. Besides, there are 10 more coronavirus-related deaths; bringing the total fatal cases to 252, the press release pointed out. The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020. The number of confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.
